I am Marcia, your photographer at Coronado Boudoir. I am a mother of three, a sonographer, a sister, a lover of fine art and a coffee addict.
As a sonographer, and years of hearing women of all stages of life apologizing for their body- I knew I had to do something different.
To me, boudoir photography is more than just taking nude imagery. It’s a way to help women embrace self-love. It’s about rediscovering their own inner beauty and strengths while embracing their femininity — and although a boudoir session may be a great gift for a partner, the experience is ultimately a way to celebrate YOU.
My mission is to make women feel CONFIDENT and liberate them from the society beauty standards — by accepting themselves as they are, regardless of weight, age, or relationship status.
I believe that you are ENOUGH exactly as you are right now…
My greatest hope is that you leave the studio with an impactful, emotive and fun experience. To look back at your images and to remember the time you did something you didn’t think you could do.
I have studied under some of the country’s top photographers, including mentorship with Brooklyn Boudoir, a maternity mentorship with Lola Melani and a boudoir series with Kara Marie. I am a member of the Association of International Boudoir photographers.
